Telecentre 4.0 at all sites will play the role as knowledge centres, which is crucial towards the continued sustainability of these telecentres within the communities. By acting as research centres, the telecentres will be able to facilitate research activities, escalating the potentials of the telecentres as central hubs for local and international researchers who are interested in issues regarding the sustainability of the communities in rural locations, community resilience in the face of climate change and the contribution of traditional knowledge to the SDGs. Telecentre 4.0 will also act as rural transformation centres, promoting these programmes within the community:
